[1] Return of Indians from America and the Far East, National Archives of India, Abhilekh Patal. The retained scan heading explicitly identifies 8 January 1915 as the return-to-India date. In the Amritsar section, entry 8 records Jai Singh, alias Nir Bhai Singh, and Manilla as his place abroad. The heading names Lopez and Kistana Maru collectively; it does not establish that Jai personally travelled aboard both vessels or identify his journey stages. The return date is not a departure date from Manila.
