Earlier research cites this work for a Bhan Singh who subdued Harbant Singh after the killing of Buddha Singh in Shanghai on 6 April 1927. Identification with Bhan Singh, son of Wasakha Singh, remains unproved. The currency of the 7,000-dollar contribution in [1] is not specified.
